WHO Office at the European Union invited ENSP to attend an award ceremony to receive its award for ENSP's dedication to tobacco control (cf. announcement).

Our commitment to transparency includes financial disclosure, comprehensive dissemination of public information, responsiveness to requests for information, and accurate representation of our policies and practices.

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2011, ENSP's press statement highlights how the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control is the most powerful tool at our disposal in the fight against tobacco.

Prior to World No Tobacco Day 2011 the WHO Regional Office for Europe recognises ENSP for its dedication to tobacco control.

Following the ENSP General Assembly 2010, ENSP once again confirmed and reinforced its declaration that only total smoke-free laws improve health by preventing heart attacks, improving respiratory health and preventing cancer.

The ENSP Network Meeting and General Assembly took place in Athens, Greece from 29 to 31 October 2009. The meeting concluded in the signing of the Athens Declaration 2009. The Athens Declaration is available for download below in different language versions.
